Twelve dedicated
individuals, varying in age and experience, will be selected to
participate in our inspiring 3-week Winter or 5-week Summer Intensive
Shakespeare Seminar.
Classes, taught by our prestigious Teachers
In Repertory, focus on techniques in voice, movement, text and
Elizabethan history-- all necessary to understand Shakespeare and to
bring his heightened language to life. Each participant is also directed
in a “job getting” Shakespeare monologue and a scene to immediately
begin applying all of the techniques learned. (See next panel for class
descriptions.)
Whether you are looking to brush up your
Shakespeare or to tackle him for the first time, our seminars require
your commitment, curiosity, stamina and courage. In return, the
Elizabethan world, Shakespeare’s explosive language, fascinating images,
passion and humanity will open your heart and begin (or re-kindle) the
greatest love affair of your life!
Both sessions culminate with
a performance of scenes and monologues before
an invited audience.
