Theatricum Botanicum casts Equity actors, non-Equity actors and
Acting interns who may be eligible to earn EMC candidacy points
through Actors Equity Association. Auditions are held every March at
Theatricum Botanicum, located at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd.,
Topanga, CA 90290.
There is parking in the lot and on the road.
Please prepare a 2-3 minute Shakespeare monologue.
It is perfectly fine to select a piece from the role you are
interested in playing.
You may or may not be asked to sing at the audition.
As we are an outdoor theatre, please dress appropriately in
layers. Do not submit a photo and resume, but bring it with you to
the audition on the following dates:
March 14- Current Theatricum Academy students (call in advance for
appointment.)
March 19- Equity open call *
March 20- Non-equity open call **
March 21- Acting Internship/College open call
*If it is raining, the date will be moved to March 26th
** If it is raining, the date will be moved to March 27th
