On June 16th, at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Glendale, 19 old pros, new pros and never-will-be-near pro golfers chipped, hack, swung and hit golf balls in Theatricum's first ever Golf Marathon.

Thanks again to everyone who golfed, pledged or volunteered to take a walk on the trimmed green side of nature to support our rustic theatre in the canyon.

We raised a total of $42,305, which directly supports our repertory company and educational programs.

We engaged the support of 431 sponsors.

We relaxed and had a good time with each other.

And, five golfers earned vacation packages for their outstanding individual fundraising efforts.

Not only did I have a really good time with great people today, I also felt very proud to be a part of the fund raiser.  Thanks for making this such a good day.

 Appreciatively,
Jed

Hanging out with this crew on a golf course was more fun than I ever expected to have and truly laid back. Hard to believe that at the same time we were raising money for the theatre and building support for our mission. Hats off to all the golfers and their sponsors for making the day super successful and fun.

I've never golfed in my life, but I was open to trying something different. Glad I did. I learned that I have a pretty mean swing and that a golf cart is a great way to escape to the trees to learn your lines. Oh! And that you can earn people's support by doing what you do and not just because you're throwing a party.
